Kitchen suppression system is a mechanism which makes use of dry or wet agents to extinguish a fire break out on any property. But when it comes to a commercial kitchen, not any fire suppression system can be used, as there are various kinds of ingredients in the kitchen which could react with a general suppressor. Normal water sprinkler may not work on such fires chemical foam fire suppression systems are designed for this type of fires.

Fire suppression  system have detectors, manual release stations and automatic fuel shut-off. Enables to safely shut the fuel from making the fire bigger. While manual stations are prepared if the detectors fail, the kitchen staffs will be able to extinguish the fire. 

The Suppression system were composed mainly of : Chemical Release Nozzles, Storage Tanks, Extinguishing Chemical, Release Mechanism and Actuator Assembly.
